Nisshoku Natsuko is a solo artist who performs while playing the piano; she was born on May 8, 1991, in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. She began playing the piano at age nine and started writing lyrics and composing music at twelve. At seventeen, she launched her professional music career under the name “Nisshoku Natsuko,” based in Morioka. She has garnered attention for her meticulously crafted lyrics and compositional skills that deeply resonate with listeners, leading to numerous appearances at major music festivals. In recent years, she has also frequently composed original music for projects such as movie theme songs and commercials.
Yuki Hayashi was born in 1980 in Kyoto Prefecture. A former male rhythmic gymnast, he became drawn to the world of accompaniment music through the process of selecting music for his own competitive routines. Although he had no formal musical training, he began composing music on his own while at university. After graduating, he learned the fundamentals of track-making from Hideo Kobayashi and began producing accompaniment music for various types of competitive dance in earnest. By incorporating diverse musical genres and leveraging his background as a former dancer, he has cultivated a unique musical style that places great importance on achieving a sense of unity with the visuals.
